Giacomo Pettinato è un aspirante game designer. Il suo sogno è dare un contributo all'industria videoludica italiana nel mercato internazionale. I suoi progetti sono caratterizzati da ironiche sperimentazioni su meccaniche di gioco consolidate. Ha studiato letteratura, arte e filosofia all’Università di lettere di Catania e Bologna. Il suo ultimo libro s’intitola Videogiochi e arte. Per una fenomenologia degli stili videoludici (2018). Ha deciso di continuare gli studi di game design a Milano, dove vive e lavora.

Giacomo Pettinato is an aspiring game designer. His dream is to work in the Italian videogame industry and to make it grow, both in terms of quality and visibility. His projects are characterized by ironic experiments on consolidated game mechanics. He studied literature, art and philosophy at the University of Catania and Bologna. His latest book is titled Videogames and art, for a phenomenology of video game styles. He is currently enrolled in a game design program in Milan.
