PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION (ATM)

TRAIN

Coming to Milan
IULM University is conveniently located near the Romolo S9 train station connecting the Campus to the railway stations of Milano Lambrate (lines to/from Monza, Monza, Bergamo, Brescia, Bologna, Genova) and Milano Greco Pirelli (lines to/from Monza, Como, Lecco, Savona).

Metropolitan area
The suburban railway line S9 connects the campus to the following subway stations: Porta Romana (MM3), Lambrate (MM2), Greco Pirelli and Sesto San Giovanni (MM1). 

CAR

Coming to Milan
The University can be reached via the Tangenziale Ovest. Follow the signs to Milan and take the Milano Famagosta-Assago Milanofiori exit. After reaching G.A. Maggi Square, follow the sign to Famagosta/Downtown. On Viale Famagosta, turn right at the first intersection to enter Via Santander and continue straight. You will reach Via Carlo Bo, where the university is located. Please note that street parking (Blue lines) is free only after 1 pm.

Metropolitan area
The Campus is located on the Outer Ring Road (known as "Circonvallazione esterna"), near Viale Cassala. IULM has an underground parking garage. Prices vary depending on the day/time of the week.

PLANE

Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate airports can be reached via train or bus.

Take bus #73 or #73x to reach downtown Milan from Linate Airport or the Malpensa Express train to reach Cadorna from Malpensa. Malpensa Express connects the airport to Cadorna Station, Stazione Centrale, and Porta Garibaldi. One way ticket is 13 euros, a roundtrip ticket - valid for 30 days - is 20 euros.

WHERE TO STAY

If you need a place to stay, we recommend Combo, a lovely hostel close to IULM (just one subway stop away from the campus). Equally lovely is Ostello Bello. If you are looking for something more fancy, try NHow in via Tortona (subway stop: MM2 Porta Genova).
